Job description

IFS Ultimo delivers one of the most innovative and progressive SaaS Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions on the market. Our platform is used by thousands of organisations worldwide, ranging from SMEs to large multinationals across various industries. Our customer portfolio includes leading organisations such as Amsterdam UMC, Haribo, London Gatwick Airport, Toyota and BASF.

At IFS Ultimo, we want you to excel in your role. That’s why we offer an extensive onboarding programme, a healthy and positive work culture, and the flexibility of hybrid working. We meet at least once a week at our office and regularly organise fun events and (sports) activities.

As a Technical Business Analyst at IFS Ultimo, you work closely with a multidisciplinary development team of six to ten colleagues. You will be part of one of our architectural development teams within Product Development.

Product Development works according to the Scrum methodology.
Thanks to our CI/CD way of working, new functionalities can be rolled out to customers quickly, allowing us to gather feedback early and continuously improve.

As a Business Analyst, you are the go-to person for functional and technical questions. One of your key responsibilities is backlog refinement. Together with the Product Owner, you critically assess the product direction, investigate requirements and ideas, and translate them into clear, achievable backlog items that are ready for development.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyse business requirements (wishes and demands) and translate these into functionality within IFS Ultimo and our mobile solutions

  • Provide accurate and detailed answers to functional and technical questions from the development team

  • Refine user stories into backlog items that meet the Definition of Ready

  • Actively share knowledge with colleagues and channel partners

  • Handle the intake of R&D cases, from analysing and reproducing issues to providing instructions or preparing cases for the development team

What we offer:

  • A hybrid role for 32–40 hours per week, with a salary matching your knowledge and experience

  • Working in an international environment with both onsite and offsite development teams

  • Incentive scheme

  • 8% holiday pay

  • 25 vacation days, with the option to buy 5 extra days

  • A solid pension scheme (50/50)

  • Home office and internet allowance

  • Committed colleagues and a strong focus on personal attention and development

  • Weekly office day at our location in Nunspeet

  • A CSR Day: one paid day per year to participate in volunteering activities
