As a Lead Developer (Web) at IFS Ultimo, you will contribute to our state-of-the-art Enterprise Asset Management platform and help build the best EAM SaaS solution in the market. You will be responsible for defining and driving the technical vision of our web domain, ensuring the scalability, performance, and maintainability of our platform.

The Position

IFS Ultimo is in a phase of rapid international growth, and we are looking for a Lead Developer (Web) to help drive the evolution of our platform. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical vision of the web domain, providing guidance to developers, and ensuring the long-term success of our technology stack. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving our frontend architecture while having a strong understanding of backend technologies.

You will be part of a scrum team consisting of developers, testers, a business analyst, and a product owner. Together with other lead developers, you will guide the team in delivering new functionalities and continuously improving our product. Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and define the technical architecture of the web domain within the Ultimo platform.

  • Develop and implement a technical vision for frontend technologies.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers.

  • Share knowledge to build a team of frontend experts through presentations, workshops, and documentation.

  • Ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of our web applications.

  • Stay up to date with the latest frontend trends and best practices.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the impact of changes on existing customers.

Job requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Dutch.

  • At least 8 years of experience in web development, particularly with TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

  • Experience with frontend frameworks and technologies such as React, Vue, or Angular.

  • A good understanding of backend technologies such as C# and ASP.NET is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of software architecture and the ability to maintain and improve it.

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies like Kubernetes and Azure.

  • Experience in leading development efforts and mentoring team members.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technical Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field. Additional certifications in coaching, software architecture, .NET, or JavaScript are a plus.
