Business Analyst - Software Development

As a Business Analyst, you are the one to answer functional or technical questions. One of the most important tasks of the Business Analyst is helping to get the backlog ready. This means that, together with the Product Owner, you keep a critical eye on the direction the product is going, you investigate all sorts of matters, and use this to translate the rough ideas into concrete, achievable backlog items.

You’ll work together with a multidisciplinary development team of about six to ten people. For this role you will become part of one of our architectural development teams. Product Development works according to the Scrum methodology. The requirements, both IFS Ultimo's and our customers', are translated into backlog items in Jira. In two-week sprints, the team works on these items to translate them into working functionalities. This is how we create new modules, develop new options, or improve existing functionality. Because we are working according to the CI/CD principle, the functionality can be rolled out to customers very quickly and we also can get feedback very quickly.

• You have a strong interest to work as a business analyst on software architecture.

• You have affinity with backend development and/or software architecture.

• BSc. in (or comparable to) Technical Computer Science or software development.

• Experience with software for supporting processes.

• You like critical thinking for technical improvements and interested in innovation.

• Excellent command of the English language.

• You already live in the Netherlands, on reasonable commute distance of our office in Nunspeet. This role is not eligible for visa sponsoring.
