The Position: IFS Ultimo is in a phase of rapid international growth. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in one of our existing Portfolio teams, focusing on Stock Management & Purchasing and Ultimo’s planning capabilities. Your mission is to act as a 'value maximiser,' ensuring that the team delivers high-quality Ultimo functionality that benefits customers, colleagues, and partners.

As the 'captain' of the scrum team (consisting of 7 members from multiple disciplines), you will determine what needs to be built and in what order, ensuring the product backlog is strategically aligned. This team is based in the Netherlands and meets in the Nunspeet office at least one day a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a clear vision for the end product, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic and tactical goals.

  • Balance the interests of various internal and external stakeholders and prioritize based on value, risks, and dependencies.

  • Collect and structure requirements from stakeholders, translating them into well-defined solutions.

  • Maintain a goal-oriented product backlog, considering value, risks, and dependencies.

  • Work closely with the development team to deliver product increments.

  • Share knowledge and provide proactive advice to colleagues and customers.

Job requirements

  • Strong sense of ownership and a high degree of independence.

  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.

  • Located in the Netherlands

  • Affinity with business processes and experience with Ultimo or comparable software for supporting processes.

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in or comparable to:

    • Business Information Systems or Computer Science

    • Business IT & Management

    • Industrial Engineering and Management or Business Administration

    • Business Information Technology
