As an Ultimo Support Engineer, you are the first point of contact for our customers. We make sure that their expectations of our solution are also put into practice. We are looking for reinforcements for our team. Someone who wants to join us to provide support to over 2000 customers. We work in a team, we help each other and we share knowledge. One may know more about technology and someone else's English may be better. We are an international company with customers throughout Europe. This is also what makes the job very varied.

How does a day looks in our team

We work either from home or at the office. By default, we work two days at the office and the rest from home, but you can choose to work at the office only. You start the day between 7.30 and 9 a.m. with a cup of coffee, after which you first go through your list of tickets to see if any customers have responded. One by one you take up your tickets and take action. This may be a response to or a solution for the customer or you may ask for help from a colleague. This is where your affinity with technology comes in handy. You then contact the customer, either by phone or directly in the portal. When a ticket is finished, you ask for approval from the customer in the portal. This also asks the customer to evaluate our services, so we know how happy the customer was with the answer. You always make sure everything is registered correctly and accurately in or system because our customers have access to our portal. This means they always have access to the communication, agreements and the progress of their ticket.

When you finish a ticket, you take up another one from our system. These tickets are sorted by priority.

We also have regular team meetings. We discuss difficult reports but also how we can improve our internal processes. Together with your team leader you work on your personal development, and you can go to them with work-related questions.


The team

We are a group of 7 driven and enthusiastic Support Engineers divided into two teams: functional and technical. All under one team leader.

The average age of our team is about 30 and ranges from 19 to 40. On average, people stay in our team for about five years. From the Support team there are many opportunities to grow to other positions. Over the past years, dozens of Support Engineers have gone on to the Software Update Team, Research & Development, Sales and Consultancy in Ultimo.

Job requirements

What are we looking for?

  • An enthusiastic new colleague for our team!
  • You work and think on an Intermediate Professional Education (MBO) level or higher and have a diploma;
  • You have no problem talking to customers, either on the phone or by e-mail;
  • Working experience in a support position is a plus;
  • Affinity with software and IT;
  • Good command of English and Dutch.

  • Gross monthly salary between €2200 and €3300 based on a 40-hour working week;
