Your job as a Software Migration Consultant

The main task of a Software Migration Consultant is to perform project-based updates in the Ultimo Software as a Service (SaaS) for our customers. These activities are done remotely. You work in a team, with your own responsibilities within that team.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Technical execution of updates for customers in the SaaS environment;
  • Migrating environments to the Azure cloud platform;
  • Coordinating with the customer about the planning of the update process;
  • Checking whether the executed updates work and have been executed correctly;
  • Explaining the new features and options of the software to the customer;
  • Collecting and registering feedback from the customer;
  • Initiating internal coordination and talks for improvements.

Job requirements

You have the following qualifications:

  • You work and think on an Intermediate Professional Education (MBO) level or higher and have a degree in or comparable to IT Services, Business Management or IT Management;
  • Several years of work experience;
  • Very result-driven and driven to achieve the set goals within the deadlines;
  • Knowledge of and affinity with Azure, Git, Jenkins, SQL and XML;
  • Customer-oriented, good communication skills, flexible and accurate;
  • Good command of both Dutch and English;
  • An assessment in English will take place during this application procedure.
